2020 Pinot Noir:

Hailing from the Chapman Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, this Pinot Noir has lively aromas of dark cherry and blooming violets mixed with fresh herbs and a tasty savory quality. This Pinot is in the medium-bodied category, and it really captures the elegance of the grape. The wine spent 14 months in French barriques and finishes with smooth and silky tannins.

With their meticulous vineyard selection and Jacq’s passion for producing high quality wines...what is not to love! They are producing big bold reds from some of the best vineyard sites in the South Okanagan. We are excited to see their new winery open soon in West Kelowna. They have big plans to develop a best in class winery with a hospitality centre, and they’re setting their sights high for a Michelin star restaurant.
ABOUT WINEMAKER JACQUELINE KEMP:
In 1998, Jacq (as she likes to be called), transitioned from a nutritional scientist to a winemaker. She studied Viticulture and Oenology at Lincoln University in New Zealand and gained practical experience in Burgundy, Western Australia, New Zealand and here in Canada. Her exceptional Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Gris in Central Otago, New Zealand, earned her national and international recognition.
After moving to Canada, Jacq continued to pursue her passion for winemaking in the Okanagan Valley, focusing on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and traditional method sparkling wines. Now, at Terralux Estate Winery and S’milka Vista Vineyards in the Similkameen Valley, she's dedicated to working with premium Meritage and Syrah grapes as well to create vineyard-centric wines that reflect the unique terroir she knows so well.

Terralux is a vision brought to life by three Masters of Wine, including one we’ve introduced to you before, Geoffrey Moss. Their primary objective revolves around the creation of exceptional wines through an elevated standard supported by meticulous attention in the vineyard and talent in the winery. You may remember their sister winery S’milka Vista, featured last year (wines we LOVE!) - well, Terralux is the next chapter. This 100% Viognier wine hails from vineyards situated in the Similkameen Valley. Following a gentle whole cluster pressing, the wine underwent aging in a combination of French barriques and stainless steel. It presents a delightful bouquet of tropical pineapple and orange blossom on the nose, accompanied by vibrant acidity and subtle hints of ginger and almond on the palate.

This exquisite Meritage wine is skillfully crafted from a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and a touch of Malbec. In terms of body, it falls within the medium range. It entices the senses with a bouquet of dried herbs and subtle hints of anise. The palate is graced with a forward expression of fruit, featuring notes of blackberry and black currants. Integrated tannins contribute to its overall harmony, leading to a lingering and satisfying finish.

Do I need to sign a contract?
Not at all! Joining the Okanagan Wine Club is entirely free and doesn’t require any paperwork. Anytime you decide to purchase a featured wine pack, it is a one-time only purchase. There are no contracts, commitments or ongoing charges. Simply choose exactly what you want to buy.
What happens if I want to leave the Okanagan Wine Club?
Since you are not in a subscription, you don't have to do anything. You simply just don't buy any wine packs.
I don't drink enough wine to justify joining a wine club...
You only get what you choose to order. If you don't want any more wine, simple don't order any more. This is the wine club where you're in complete control of exactly how much wine you get.
What if I don't like your wine?
Many of our partner wineries allow you to return wine directly to the winery if the quality has been compromised. If you are unsatisfied with your wine purchase or the quality of your wine, please email us to help you solve the issue.
Where am I purchasing the wine?
You are purchasing wine directly from the winery, but at Okanagan Wine Club prices.
